This morning I learned that my Ferrari Fund was acquired in a hostile takeover. Apparently its been in the works for a few months, final confirmation was received this morning @ 0930 hours. The individuals have not publicly named themselves, but I do know that there are only 2 members in the company. There was a possibility of 3 individuals, but the hinted at third member was not to be found. Rumor has it they will reveal themselves sometime in late October or Early to Mid November 2008.
I have been informed that I will need to keep “donating” money for the next 20+ years, but now the fund will be called “The Twin’s College Fund”, and there is NO hope of said monies being used in purchasing Ferraris.
I do have a few blurry black & white pictures of the individuals somewhere in the dossier. I’ll try to post them up soon. Must have been spy satellite photos because it’s hard to make out who they are.
I have also heard rumors of this hostile takeover. I believe the name of the company is called Ear Piercing Screams, Inc., which was recently formed by the merger of Dueling Projectile Vomit, Inc., and Nosleep4u, LLC. Anyway, you should be aware that you will see tremendous growth in the market (as certain assets will swell rapidly). However, the market conditions will fluctuate rapidly and could prove to be very volatile and unpredictable in next few months. I would advise you to proceed with caution and invest in wisely in the frozen diary, rare gem, and floral industries. In any event, I know that rumors of this takeover can cause anxiety and confusion. However, I will assure you that the benefits and synergies from this type of takeover will far outweigh the pleasure of owning a Ferrari (at least in the longrun).

And on a side note, when we were in Disney World last January, there were tons of people/kids wearing Thing 1 & Thing 2 shirts. Universal was selling them. Probably would have been cool if only one or two sets of kids were wearing them. Just plain lemmingesque when you see a field trip of kids / adults wearing them.

Sorry about your Ferrari
I feel your pain, brother. I had to close out my “40 foot twin engine offshore catamaran” fund almost 18 months ago. I sweated for a while, but it turns out that the new holder of my financial asset is quite reasonable, dare I say ‘enjoyable’, to work with.
…and what better time for Mini to launch their four door!
