I was cleaning out a few boxes from the 2nd floor front room, soon to be known as the Main House Guest Room and came across 2 drawings from back in the day. They were done by Adam Craft, a friend I worked with back at the bookstore. After leaving the bookstore I lost touch with him (and most of the other people who worked there) but searched the internets for any trace of the nut. While Heather and I were living in England I came across a book entitled “Echoes of Nod“, and damn if there wasn’t a picture of my friend on the back cover.
When things were slow at the bookstore, which near the end was ALL THE TIME, Adam would doodle cartoons & clips while telling some strange story. He always said he wanted to write kid’s books but the strange bit is most of his storytelling then and Echoes of Nod now were and are of the horror genre. I don’t remember what the story was for these two but for whatever reason, I kept the drawings.
